Gordon Edwards Memorial Turkey Shoot – sponsored by the Punta de Mita Foundation

On Saturday November 27th, in honor of his well lived life, the “Gordon Edwards Memorial Turkey Shoot ” is being sponsored by the Punta de Mita Foundation.

The Fourth Annual Foundation Golf Tournament begins with a continental breakfast and registration from 7:30 a.m. until 8:50 a.m.

The shotgun start on the Pacifico Course is at 9:00 a.m and lunch will be served afterwards.

The Punta de Mita Foundation has been created to serve the greater region of Punta de Mita, enhancing the quality of life for the people and communities in this area. This is a resident-led, community-based organization dedicated to assisting the communities of Punta de Mita to become good places to live, do business, work and raise families.

The Foundation provides capital, technical expertise, training and information, to support local leadership, better education and facilitate sustainable economic development. Our primary means of doing this is through helping existing non-profit organizations or helping to establish new one’s that can provide this support.  Grant-making will occur semi-annually according to the following categories: education, environment, community development, and public safety.
